YOU'VE FOUND YOUR AGENT James and Tim recently worked a deal for us that would not have gone through had we used someone else. This particular transaction had a bit of everything: probate, scheduling communication across multiple time zones, spotty internet connection in the mountains, working over Christmas and New Years, unforeseen issues, a difficult agent on the other side of the table, etc etc. You name it, we experienced it. And it wasn't for a giant commission check. He treated our small transaction with the tenacity and promptness like it were a multimillion property. I should state that my Vacant Property in Palmdale, Ca. (lots 025/026/027) weren't going to be the easiest to sell listening what I was hearing from some recommended brokers. Besides, I had purchased the land in 2006 with my SepIra and was also anxious that it might never sell! Fortunately and grateful , I ended up meeting James (James Baker Realty) from the recommendations. James reminded me of someone who once called me ( "the real McCoy") and came across as one of those rare people who immediately present themselves as a Positive, Straight Forward and a Can-Do person. ( I would never call James as a pessimist ) I said to my self "let's see . . .within 6 months" (during the contract over the winter) James called me on a Sunday morning in April and tells me he found a buyer for all 3 LOTS! As I mentioned the escrow above, it's was obvious everything came together (they were a few bumps with the SEP-IRA) but all went better than I would have imagined- the documents, signing, working with the escrow, numbers of questions he was willing to answer . James put some things together I thought was brilliant around the IRA conundrum! - very impressed ! I could go on with more stories, but James is a Gem, Trustworthy with many hobbies and very involved with a happy family.
